Joyce E. Steele

Watercolor and oil painting artist

🇺🇸 San Diego, California, United States
Old San Diego Pottery
1984 to 2022
English

I work mostly in watercolor, sometimes oil painting. My first show was in 1984 at Old San Diego Pottery, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog. Most of my work is inspired by my grandmother's kitchen. I bake for the whole street at New Year.

More about Joyce

I've had 9 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.

Mediums

Watercolor Oil painting

What gifts mean to Joyce: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
