Taught design and technology at Glasgow Academy

- Glasgow Academy
- 1984 to 1992

For eight years I was the design and technology teacher at Glasgow Academy. I taught first-year students and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I ran the chess club after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I'm always reading two books at once.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Joyce
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.

What gifts mean to Joyce: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.
