Joya Jannat Dutta

20 years teaching English literature in Mumbai

  • 🇮🇳 Mumbai, Maharashtra, India
  • Mumbai Technical College
  • 1984 to 2020
  • English
I taught English literature at Mumbai Technical College in Mumbai from 1984 to 2020. Most days I taught primary school children, and I played music while people worked. Over the years I had 940 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile. I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.

More about Joya

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the planetarium, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
