Joy Zainab Mba
Musician with Abuja Orchestra
- 🇳🇬 Abuja, Abuja FCT, Nigeria
- Abuja Orchestra
- Since 1983
- English, Hausa
I play jazz and accordion. I started in 1983 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
I teach about 8 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
More about Joy
I write my first song when I was 19. It was terrible and I still love it.
What gifts mean to Joy: Any gift will help me keep teaching kids who can't afford lessons.
