Joy Saif Mukherjee
Philosophy lecturer, Since 1984
- 🇧🇩 Gazipur, Dhaka, Bangladesh
- Eastgate College
- Since 1984
- English, Bengali
My subject is philosophy, and for 42 years I get to share it with undergraduates at Eastgate College.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I bake for the whole street at New Year.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Joy
Some of my favorite days were field trips that went spectacularly wrong.
What gifts mean to Joy: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
