I taught mathematics at Silverlake High School in Benin City from 2012 to 2021. Most days I taught the youngest children, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Outside the classroom I garden badly but happily. Inside it, I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
