Joy Karim Chatterjee
Sitar player and teacher in Jessore
- 🇧🇩 Jessore, Khulna, Bangladesh
- Jessore Ensemble
- 2017 to 2025
- English, Bengali
I've played sitar from 2017 to 2025, mostly in pubs, churches, weddings and anywhere else that would have me. These days I also teach.
My favorite gigs are the small ones where somebody cries a little in the third row.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Joy
I wrote my first song when I was 22. It was terrible and I still love it.

What gifts mean to Joy: A gift would go toward new strings, repairs and music for my students.
