Helping people break into law school
- 🇳🇬 Ikeja, Lagos, Nigeria
- Ikeja Community Trust
- 1980 to 2017
- English, Igbo
For 37 years I've mentored people in law school and nursing. Mostly it's coffee, honest feedback and a lot of listening.
Most of my mentees are early in their careers. A few are in their fifties and starting over, and they're some of my favorites.
More about Joy
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
Areas of mentoring
What gifts mean to Joy: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
