Joy Grace Bankole
Athletics coach, Beacon Boxing Gym
- 🇳🇬 Lagos, Lagos, Nigeria
- 1985 to 2013
- English, Hausa
I coached athletics at Beacon Boxing Gym from 1985 to 2013. Most of my players were between 10 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
My best seasons were the ones we lost most games and still showed up every Tuesday.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
What gifts mean to Joy: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
