Josiane Regina Barbosa

Self-taught illustration artist

  • 🇧🇷 Contagem, Minas Gerais, Brazil
  • Central Art Collective
  • 2016 to 2025
  • Portuguese
I work mostly in illustration, sometimes sculpture. My first show was in 2016 at Central Art Collective, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog. Most of my work is inspired by old photographs. I'm always reading two books at once. Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.

More about Josiane

If you've bought a piece of mine, thank you. It's on someone's wall and that still amazes me.
