I taught environmental science at Sunrise Academy in San Diego from 1991 to 2015. Most days I taught first-year students, and I learned every name in the first week.
I coached the school's cross-country squad for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.
More about Josiah
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the farm, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
