Josiah K. Rice
Volunteer mentor with Bronx Mentoring Circle
- 🇺🇸 Bronx, New York, United States
- 2017 to 2025
- English
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 180 people through Bronx Mentoring Circle.
Most of my mentees are early in their careers. A few are in their fifties and starting over, and they're some of my favorites.
I'm still learning every day.
More about Josiah
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
Areas of mentoring
What gifts mean to Josiah: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
