I taught home economics at Bayview Boys' School in Bronx from 1984 to 2006. Most days I taught Grade 11, and I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
Outside the classroom I sing in a choir. Inside it, I kept a jar of spare pencils on my desk.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

What gifts mean to Josiah: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

I was in your Grade 11 class in 1998. You believed I could do it before I did. Greetings from Kraków.
