I've volunteered with Parkside Community Kitchen from 1980 to 1996. I started on a Saturday morning "just to help out" and never left.
I'm not an expert in anything, I just show up. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
What gifts mean to Josiah: I'd put a gift toward transport for our volunteers.
