For 23 years I have been the special education teacher at Acacia Secondary School. I teach first-year students and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I've had 1,310 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
