I teach chemistry at Los Angeles Technical College in Los Angeles since 1985. Most days I teach Grade 6, and my door is open at lunch.
Over the years I've had 900 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Joseph
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the science museum, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
What gifts mean to Joseph: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.

You taught me chemistry in 1985 at Los Angeles Technical College. I still remember the time the class pet escaped.

A small gift is a big thank-you.
