Joseph Paul Mugisha
Youth athletics coach and mentor
- 🇰🇪 Eldoret, Uasin Gishu, Kenya
- Eldoret Youth Club
- 2009 to 2024
- English, Swahili
I coached athletics at Eldoret Youth Club from 2009 to 2024. Most of my players were between 12 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I played music while people worked.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
More about Joseph
I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
What gifts mean to Joseph: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
