Joseph Okello Nabwire
Engineering mentor, Nairobi
- 🇰🇪 Nairobi, Nairobi, Kenya
- Rosewood Learning Hub
- 1985 to 2010
- English, Swahili, French
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 930 people through Rosewood Learning Hub.
Most of my mentees are early in their careers. A few are in their fifties and starting over, and they're some of my favorites.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about Joseph
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
Areas of mentoring
What gifts mean to Joseph: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
