Joseph H. Avila
Singing and gospel teacher
- 🇨🇦 Hamilton, Ontario, Canada
- Hamilton Ensemble
- Since 2005
- English
I play singing and gospel. I started in 2005 with a secondhand instrument and a lot of stubbornness.
I teach about 19 students a week. Some of them are better than me now, which is the whole point. I'm always reading two books at once.
More about Joseph
I write my first song when I was 15. It was terrible and I still love it.
What gifts mean to Joseph: Any gift will help me keep teaching kids who can't afford lessons.
