Joseph A. Bowers
Professor of civil engineering, Gateway Polytechnic
- 🇬🇧 Aberdeen, Scotland, United Kingdom
- Gateway Polytechnic
- Since 2003
- English
I teach civil engineering at Gateway Polytechnic since 2003, and supervised 25 dissertations along the way.
Former students now work as a bus driver and in a dozen other fields. It's the best part of this job.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Joseph
I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.
What gifts mean to Joseph: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
