Josefina H. Velasco
Swimming and fitness coach, Manila
- 🇵🇭 Manila, Metro Manila, Philippines
- Since 2004
- English, Filipino
I've coached swimming at Sakura Sports Club since 2004. Most of my players were between 12 and 16, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.

What gifts mean to Josefina: Anything sent will buy equipment for the junior team.
