Josefina D. Tomas

Helping people break into farming

🇵🇭 Makati, Metro Manila, Philippines
Cedar Grove Foundation
2004 to 2020
English, Filipino

I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 370 people through Cedar Grove Foundation. I don't give advice so much as ask questions until the answer shows up. I'm learning the guitar. I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

More about Josefina

Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.

Areas of mentoring

Farming Teaching Design

What gifts mean to Josefina: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
