Josefa T. Ávila
28 years teaching chemistry in Chattanooga
- 🇺🇸 Chattanooga, Tennessee, United States
- Chattanooga Middle School
- Since 2010
- English, Spanish
I came to teaching late, after working as a radio technician, and 16 years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Outside the classroom I bake for the whole street at New Year. Inside it, I learn every name in the first week.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Josefa
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

You taught me chemistry in 2018 at Chattanooga Middle School. I still remember the volcano experiment that got a bit out of hand.
