Helping people break into first-generation students
- 🇺🇸 Hialeah, Florida, United States
- Crescent Youth Network
- Since 1994
- English, Spanish
I started mentoring after a colleague did the same for me. Since then I've worked with 1,020 people through Crescent Youth Network.
Most of my mentees are early in their careers. A few are in their fifties and starting over, and they're some of my favorites.

If I mentored you, I hope you're still pushing yourself.

What gifts mean to Josefa: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
