For 33 years I've run the hockey program at Buenos Aires Elmwood Swimming Club in Buenos Aires. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I never turn anyone away.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about Josefa
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.
What gifts mean to Josefa: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
