Josefa J. Montes

Youth wrestling coach and mentor

  • 🇺🇸 Chandler, Arizona, United States
  • Bamboo Swimming Club
  • 1984 to 2009
  • English, Spanish
I'm a wrestling coach. I never went pro, but I got to see 530 kids fall in love with the game. Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I run most mornings. It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

More about Josefa

I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
