José Vinícius Lopes

27 years teaching history in Salvador

  • 🇧🇷 Salvador, Bahia, Brazil
  • Salvador Boys' School
  • 1978 to 2016
  • Portuguese
For 38 years I was the history teacher at Salvador Boys' School. I taught Year 9 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help. I coached the school's athletics team for a few seasons. We lost more than we won, and I'd do it all again.

If you were in my Year 9 class, you probably remember the end-of-term party.

What gifts mean to José: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
