José Tiago Araújo

Master of pottery, now teaching apprentices

  • 🇧🇷 Pelotas, Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil
  • The Pelotas Workshop
  • Since 1985
  • English, French
I've worked in pottery since 1985. I learned from my mother and passed what I could on to 980 apprentices. Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I carry a notebook everywhere.
