José T. Velasco
Mentor in farming and recovery
- 🇺🇸 St. Petersburg, Florida, United States
- Redwood Association
- 1990 to 2016
- English, Spanish
For 26 years I've mentored people in farming and recovery. Mostly it's coffee, honest feedback and a lot of listening.
I don't give advice so much as ask questions until the answer shows up. I make terrible puns.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about José
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
What gifts mean to José: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
