Jose N. Russell
Rugby coach, St. Petersburg Athletic Club
- 🇺🇸 St. Petersburg, Florida, United States

I've coached rugby at St. Petersburg Athletic Club since 2000. Most of my players were between 9 and 14, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I play music while people worked.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
What gifts mean to Jose: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.

I still think about the cold winter when we all kept our coats on. Best summer of my life! Greetings from Heliopolis.
