José N. Franco
21 years teaching religious studies in Austin
- 🇺🇸 Austin, Texas, United States
- 1985 to 2022
- English, Spanish
Austin High School was my second home. I taught religious studies there from 1985 to 2022, mostly teenagers.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
More about José
Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the planetarium, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.
