José Leandro Barbosa
Teacher at Salvador Secondary School, loves English literature
- 🇧🇷 Salvador, Bahia, Brazil
- Salvador Secondary School
- 1980 to 2005
- Portuguese
For 25 years I was the English literature teacher at Salvador Secondary School. I taught Grade 11 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
Over the years I had 950 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
Hearing from old faces is the best part of my week.
More about José
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
