Helping people break into writing
- 🇧🇷 Guarulhos, São Paulo, Brazil
- Maple Ridge Youth Network
- Since 1980
- English, Portuguese
For 46 years I've mentored people in writing and nursing. Mostly it's coffee, honest feedback and a lot of listening.
Most of my mentees are early in their careers. A few are in their fifties and starting over, and they're some of my favorites.
More about José
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
What gifts mean to José: A gift would go toward free mentoring sessions for people who can't pay.
