José L. Mendoza
Children's librarian in Los Angeles
- 🇺🇸 Los Angeles, California, United States
- Los Angeles Library
- 1981 to 2002
- English, Spanish
I worked at Los Angeles Library from 1981 to 2002. If there was a question, we'd find an answer, or at least a book that might help.
I ran the Saturday reading group and the summer reading challenge. I fix old bicycles.

What gifts mean to José: I'd put a gift toward a reading corner at the nearby school.
