Jose K. Uy
Ceramics artist in Pasig
- 🇵🇭 Pasig, Metro Manila, Philippines
- Since 1982
- English
I work mostly in ceramics, sometimes calligraphy. My first show was in 1982 at Little Rosewood Print Workshop, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
Most of my work is inspired by my grandmother's kitchen. I run most mornings.
More about Jose
I've had 7 small exhibitions over the years. My favorite was the one with the worst lighting.
Mediums
What gifts mean to Jose: I'd put a gift toward a kiln repair. It's been a long time coming.
