José G. Díaz
Mentor in trades and nursing
- 🇺🇸 Springfield, Massachusetts, United States
- Liberty Association
- Since 1995
- English, Spanish
For 31 years I've mentored people in trades and nursing. Mostly it's coffee, honest feedback and a lot of listening.
I don't give advice so much as ask questions until the answer shows up. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
I'm still learning every day.
More about José
Some of my mentees now mentor others. That's how it's meant to work.
What gifts mean to José: I'd put gifts toward travel for in-person sessions with students.
