José E. Rodríguez
Youth swimming coach and mentor
- 🇦🇷 Buenos Aires, Buenos Aires, Argentina
- Harbor Sports Club
- Since 1994
- English
For 32 years I've run the swimming program at Harbor Sports Club in Buenos Aires. We trained 5 evenings a week, whatever the weather.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. My door was open at lunch.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about José
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to José: A gift would go toward kit and bus fares for kids who can't afford them.
