I coached gymnastics at Hillcrest Community Club from 1985 to 2020. Most of my players were between 12 and 13, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
More about Jose
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Jose: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
