Youth basketball coach and mentor

I've coached basketball at Bilbao Unity Youth Club since 1984. Most of my players were between 9 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Practice always ended with the same rule: nobody walks home alone. I volunteer at the food bank on Saturdays.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.

I still keep the team photo from our best season on the wall.
