I taught art at Willow Creek Primary School in Bakersfield from 1978 to 2008. Most days I taught the youngest children, and I never once raised my voice.
Over the years I had 1,680 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.

You taught me art in 1995 at Willow Creek Primary School. I still remember the end-of-term party
