José A. Contreras
Masonry for 30 years in Madrid
- 🇪🇸 Madrid, Madrid, Spain
- 1988 to 2018
- Spanish
I've worked in masonry from 1988 to 2018. I learned from my grandmother and passed what I could on to 900 apprentices.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I carry a notebook everywhere.
I never expected anything in return, but a kind word always makes my day.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to José: A gift would go toward tools for apprentices who can't afford their own.
