I work mostly in textiles, sometimes printmaking. My first show was in 1978 at Barranquilla Art Collective, and nobody came except my family and one confused dog.
Most of my work is inspired by faces I pass in the street. I paint watercolors of whatever is outside the window.
It has been a good run and I'm grateful for all of it.
