For 36 years I have been the French teacher at Winston-Salem Middle School. I teach the final-year class and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
I've run the debate team after school and some of my proudest moments happened there. I'm learning the guitar.
More about Jorge
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Jorge: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
