Jordan N. Day
36 years teaching art in Los Angeles
- 🇺🇸 Los Angeles, California, United States
- Los Angeles Public School
- 2005 to 2025
- English
For 20 years I was the art teacher at Los Angeles Public School. I taught Grade 11 and a few brave older students who wanted extra help.
My classroom was always a bit noisy, a bit untidy and usually full of people who came for the biscuits.
More about Jordan
The students I remember best weren't always the top of the class. They were the ones who asked "why?" when nobody else did.
What gifts mean to Jordan: A gift would go toward books and supplies for the students I still tutor.

You taught me art in 2025 at Los Angeles Public School. I still remember that terrible school play.
