Jordan J. Castro
Master of shoemaking, now teaching apprentices
- 🇺🇸 Sacramento, California, United States
- The Sacramento Trades Guild
- 2017 to 2025
- English
My trade is shoemaking. I opened my own shop in 2017 in Sacramento and I'm still there most mornings.
Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I answer every message, eventually.
More about Jordan
Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
Crafts and trades
What gifts mean to Jordan: I'd put gifts toward a new set of tools for the next apprentice.
