I've coached table tennis at Beacon Youth Club since 1987. Most of my players were between 9 and 15, and a lot of them turned into friends for life.
Winning was never the point, though I won't pretend I didn't enjoy it. I always have a bag of oranges in my drawer.
More about Jonathan
Some of my former players now coach their own teams, which is the best thank-you I could ask for.

What gifts mean to Jonathan: I'll put any gifts toward a small fund so no child misses a match because of money.
