I taught computer science at Berlin State University from 1981 to 2004, and supervised 52 dissertations along the way.
I'm happiest when a student comes to office hours with a question that makes me rethink something I've said for years. I garden badly but happily.
More about Jonas
I retired from full-time teaching but still mentor a few students a year.
What gifts mean to Jonas: I'd put a gift toward a student bursary.
