Taught special education at Ottawa Secondary School

Ottawa Secondary School

English, Filipino

I taught special education at Ottawa Secondary School in Ottawa from 1992 to 2025. Most days I taught Grade 4, and I stayed late on Thursdays for anyone who needed it. Over the years I had 1,060 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.

More about Jomar

Some of my favorite memories are from the school trip to the planetarium, where nothing went to plan and everything turned out fine.

What gifts mean to Jomar: Honestly the messages mean more, but a gift would help me buy supplies for my new classroom.
