Joko Joko Kartika
Teacher at Jakarta Boys' School, loves computer science
- 🇮🇩 Jakarta, DKI Jakarta, Indonesia
- Since 2015
- English
I came to teaching late, after working as a bus driver, and eleven years later I still can't imagine doing anything else.
Over the years I've had 290 students pass through my room. A few of them became teachers themselves, which still makes me smile.
I'm proud of everyone I got to work with.
More about Joko
Teaching changed me more than I changed anyone, I think.

What gifts mean to Joko: If you do send something, I'll put it toward a small scholarship for a student who needs it.

You taught me computer science in 2016 at Jakarta Boys' School. I still remember the last day before the summer holidays. Truly.

You taught me computer science in 2019 at Jakarta Boys' School. I still remember the long bus ride home.
