Joko Budi Hidayat

Blacksmithing, done properly

  • 🇮🇩 Denpasar, Bali, Indonesia
  • Since 1979
  • English, Indonesian, Spanish
I've worked in blacksmithing since 1979. I learned from my mother and passed what I could on to 1,130 apprentices. Apprentices come in nervous and leave proud. That's my favorite part. I always make time for a proper cup of tea.

More about Joko

Some of my old apprentices now run their own shops. I couldn't be prouder.
